What's included

What comes with every website project.

None of this is an add-on, and none of it is priced separately.

Planning and a sitemap

We learn how your business works and who the site needs to reach. You approve the list of pages and how they connect before any design begins.

Writing for every page

We write the pages from your questionnaire and our conversations. You review every word. Nobody hands you a blank document.

Custom design

A design made for you, not a theme with your logo dropped in. You get two rounds of revisions.

WordPress development

We build on WordPress, the most widely used website platform, so your site is easy to maintain and never tied to us.

Search foundations

Page titles, descriptions, structure, and the behind-the-scenes setup search engines read, done right from the start. We don't promise rankings. Nobody can.

Security setup

SSL, a firewall, bot protection, and spam protection on your forms, set up before launch.

Forms and booking, connected

Contact forms and booking tools are set up and tested, so inquiries reach the person who should answer them.

Premium tools, covered

The premium plugins we build with run on our lifetime licenses and stay installed on your site after launch. If your site ever needs a subscription plugin, you'll hear about it before anything is installed.

Recorded training videos

Short videos show you how to update hours, swap photos, and edit pages yourself. Watch them whenever you need them.

30 days of support

For 30 days after launch, we fix anything that isn't working the way it was designed, at no charge, and answer your questions along the way.

How it works

Five stages, each with a clear finish line.

It starts once you've approved your proposal. You sign off on each stage before the next one begins, so nothing gets built on a guess.

Stage 01

Kickoff

You answer a questionnaire at your own pace, then we talk it through on a kickoff call. If you have a website now, we review what's on it. We turn it all into a short findings report.

You get

We need from you
Your answers, and time for the kickoff call.

Stage 02

Plan

We map every page, what each one needs to say, and how visitors move through the site, then sketch the key layouts as simple wireframes. You also get a checklist of the photos and materials to gather.

Stage 03

Design

We design the key pages so you see the real look before anything is built, then refine it with your feedback.

You get

One set of combined feedback per round, then your approval.

Stage 04

Build

We build every page on a private preview site with the final writing in place, and connect your forms and booking tools.

You get

Review the preview and approve the writing.

Stage 05

Launch

We test the site on phones and computers, move it live once the final payment is in, and hand it over. When your 30 days of support end, clients we've built for can keep us on through a care plan for updates, backups, and security.

You get

The final payment, plus access to your domain and hosting.
Everything in one placeThroughout the project, you have a private client portal with your agreement, invoices, project documents, and recordings of our meetings. Every week, you also get a written update on what's done, what's next, and anything we need from you.

It all starts with a free 30-minute call.

Cost and ownership

What it costs, how you pay, and who owns what.

What it costs

Projects start at several thousand dollars, and larger sites cost more. The price depends on how many pages you need, how much writing is involved, and what the site has to connect to. If it's a fit, you get a written proposal after the discovery call with the scope, price, and timeline.

Get a proposal for your project

No surprise charges

Your proposal sets the scope and price in writing. If something comes up outside it, we talk it through first, and nothing extra happens without your approval.

How payment works

Payments are split into three milestones. A deposit starts the project, the second payment is due when you approve the design, and the final payment is due before the site goes live.

Who owns what

Your domain and hosting stay in your name the whole time. The finished website becomes yours when the project is paid in full.

Hosting

We don't sell hosting. We help you set up an account in your name, paid directly to the host, so you never depend on us to keep the site online.

Who it's for

A good fit for established businesses and organizations.

We work with businesses, churches, nonprofits, and local organizations that want a website planned properly and built to last.

A good fit if

  • Your business or mission has grown, and your website hasn't kept up.
  • You want one partner to handle the planning, writing, design, and build.
  • You can make time for a kickoff call and a few review points along the way.
  • You're ready to invest several thousand dollars or more to get it right.

Probably not a fit if

  • You're looking for the lowest price available.
  • You need a website live in a few days.
  • You want a template filled in rather than a site planned around you.
  • You need ads or social media managed. We don't offer either.

Questions about a project

Before you book a call.

Have something we didn't cover? Bring it to the discovery call.

Why not use a website builder or someone cheaper?

A builder gives you a template and blank pages, and you still plan, write, and design the site yourself. We do that work with you. You get a written proposal, you approve each stage before the next one starts, and every document lives in your client portal. The site runs on WordPress, with your domain and hosting in your name.

How many pages will my website have?

As many as your business actually needs. We work that out together in the Plan stage, and you approve the sitemap before design begins.

Do I have to write anything?

No. We write the pages from your questionnaire answers and our conversations. You review the writing and tell us what to change.

What if I don't have good photos?

Photos come from you, and the checklist in the Plan stage tells you exactly what to gather. Recent photos of your work, your space, or your people do far more than stock images.

What if I don't like the design?

Tell us. You get two rounds of revisions, and you approve the look before we build. Anything beyond that, we agree on with you first.

Can I update the website myself?

Yes. Recorded training videos show you how to change hours, swap photos, and edit pages. For bigger changes, get in touch and we'll tell you what's involved.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the number of pages, the features, and how quickly materials and approvals come back. Your proposal includes the timeline before any work begins.

Will my website rank on Google?

We build every page with search in mind, from the structure to the titles and descriptions. No one can promise a specific ranking, and you should be wary of anyone who does.

Can you rebuild the website I already have?

Yes. We look at what your current site does well, carry over what should stay, and plan the rest.

What if we ever part ways?

Your domain and hosting are already in your name. The site is yours once it's paid in full, it runs on WordPress, which any developer can work on, and your training videos and project documents stay with you.

Start with a conversation

Let's plan your website.

Tell us about your business or organization, your current website, and what needs to change.

Free 30-minute call. No obligation.

Not ready to talk? Score your website first.

After you book

  1. Pick a time.Choose a time for the call that works for you.
  2. Talk it through. We ask questions about your goals and explain how a project works.
  3. Get a straight answer. If a new website makes sense, you get a written proposal with the scope, price, and timeline. If it doesn't, we'll say so.

You'll know exactly what you're getting before work starts.

We limit the number of active builds so each project gets the attention it needs.
